This site is dedicated to the memory of Brian Compton.

Brian Compton was born in Shoreham-by-Sea on January 22, 1962. He was much loved and is deeply missed by all his friends and family. Tragically on the 21st August 2005 Brian suffered a fatal heart attack.. without any warning signs that we know of. The day before myself and my two children had spoken to him on the phone. The memory of that conversation will stay with me forever.. The photograph on his home page was taken just the day before he passed away. He looks to me the picture of health. Everyone misses his beautiful blue eyes that went with his kind smile. No words could ever be enough to explain the huge loss we are all left with.. He also leaves his beautiful mother 'Peggy' who was totally devoted to him. He had the utmost respect for her. Each night she looks up at the sky to the brightest star and talks to her son... As a baby Brian almost died of Meningitis. As a mother I could not ever bear the thought of losing one of my children. To her it must feel harder as he proved to be a stronger baby than an adult.. Brian was the eldest child of four, he had one sister Sharon, and two brothers, Jimmy and Jay. Brian may be gone but we will each have our precious memories of him...
